Enduring Support, Strategic Insight.
We operate at the intersection of supported living, specialist housing, and long-term capital investment. Our role is to provide informed guidance, commercial clarity, and meaningful connections across a complex and highly regulated landscape.
Our Purpose
We exist to bring structure, transparency, and collaboration to supported and specialist housing by unlocking solutions that deliver measurable social impact alongside long-term economic value.
By combining sector expertise, market intelligence, and an extensive national network, we help stakeholders align need, capital, and delivery in a way that is both commercially viable and socially responsible.
Who We Work With
Whether you are a parent or carer navigating housing options, a local authority commissioner shaping provision, or an institutional or private investor seeking resilient, impact-led opportunities, our platform is designed to support informed decision-making and sustainable outcomes.
Parents and Carers
Educational Resources,
Informed Decisions
Supporting a loved one who may require supported living can be overwhelming. This platform provides educational resources to help families better understand supported living models, property considerations, and the wider system.
Important Note: We do not directly place individuals into accommodation. Given the variability in eligibility, funding, and provision across local authorities, we strongly advise engaging with your social worker, care provider, or local authority, who are best placed to guide assessments, funding pathways, and placement decisions.
Supported Living Providers, Commissioners & Professionals
Professional Collaboration,
Strategic Support
We work closely with commissioners, care providers, housing professionals, landlords and developers operating within supported and specialist housing.
Our resources and insights are designed to support:
- Strategic planning and service design
- Property sourcing and development feasibility
- Understanding lease-based and specialist housing models
- Navigating regulatory, funding, and procurement frameworks
We welcome professional dialogue and collaboration where there is alignment in purpose and standards.
Investors, Pension Funds & Private Capital
Impact-Led Investment,
Long-Term Value
Supported and specialist housing is one of the UK's most structurally undersupplied and defensively positioned real estate sectors.
We engage with institutional investors, pension funds, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals seeking:
Our focus is on investable opportunities that balance risk discipline with meaningful social outcomes.
Supported Living & Long-Term Housing Security
Long-term housing security including ownership is achievable for individuals with long-term disabilities, but it requires specialist structuring, informed planning, and coordinated professional support.
HOLD – Home Ownership for People with Long-Term Disabilities
The HOLD scheme enables eligible individuals to purchase a share (typically 25%–75%) of a property, with the remaining share retained by a housing association at subsidised rent.
Key characteristics include:
- Homes England-backed funding
- Buyer-led property selection (subject to approval)
- Potential eligibility for Support for Mortgage Interest (SMI)
- Designed for affordability, stability, and long-term sustainability
Shared Ownership
Shared ownership allows individuals to part-buy and part-rent, with the option to increase ownership over time through staircasing. Some providers operate disability-specific shared ownership schemes alongside HOLD.
Specialist Mortgages & Government Support
Certain lenders will accept disability benefits and Universal Credit as income. Support for Mortgage Interest (SMI) is available as a government loan to assist with mortgage interest, repayable only upon sale and limited to available equity.
Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs)
Local authorities may offer grants often up to £30,000 or more for essential adaptations such as accessible bathrooms, ramps, and mobility modifications.

We know some supported living organisations operate outside of regulatory bodies. In these cases, we'll ask for details about your current practices and the experience of your directors. The more information you share, the faster we can verify your account and give you access.
Your request will be shared with our investor members, and you'll start receiving tailored proposals directly via email.
You can also save properties you're interested in by clicking the heart icon. If you decide to move forward, you can reserve the property—removing it from view for other providers while lease negotiations begin.
You can save multiple searches, all of which will be stored in your dashboard for easy access and editing.
As a guide, most landlords expect market rent based on property type and location. To get a sense of rates in your area, check Rightmove or Zoopla. After a viewing, you'll be invited to put forward a full rent proposal, including lease terms, so the landlord can make an informed decision.
Our property investors are always looking for their next purchase—and with Buy to Order, they can buy with your needs in mind, ensuring a perfect fit.
Providers have raised concerns about the commercial sensitivity of the information they share on demand request forms and prefer that their competitors do not have access to it. Similarly, property investors have expressed that they do not want other investors to view listings before they have fully secured a site.
Therefore, to address these concerns, property investors are restricted to accessing only the demand portal, while providers are limited to the property portal. You are asked to select access to either the property portal or the demand portal, with help available if required.
If you believe you genuinely require access to both portals, please contact us via email: contact@supportedlivingproperty.co.uk
- Longer-term leases
- No rental voids during the lease period
- Reduced management responsibilities, with maintenance often covered by the provider
- The reward of offering a safe, independent home to those who need it most
